Founder
Pierson McGillivray is the founder of McGillivray Motors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from Ontario Tech University and a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Western University.
McGillivray Motors was built on his passion for high-performance vehicles, aerodynamics, and advanced automotive design. What began as a design-focused project has grown into the development of Mjølnir, a Canadian performance vehicle concept shaped through engineering, CFD analysis, and continuous aerodynamic refinement.
His goal is to build something meaningful in the Canadian automotive space by combining passion, engineering development, and a long-term vision for road-legal performance.

Our Story
McGillivray Motors began in 2022 as a personal vehicle design project, starting with pencil sketches before evolving into digital 3D concepts. What began as a creative outlet gradually developed into a larger vision for a Canadian performance vehicle company built around bold design, aerodynamic development, and road-legal performance.
After sharing the early concepts online, the project began gaining traction from automotive enthusiasts who connected with the vision. That support helped push McGillivray Motors beyond a design page and toward the development of a real vehicle program. As the vision continued to grow, the team expanded beyond one person, bringing in multiple people who share the goal of helping the project move forward.
Today, the focus is on Mjölnir, a flagship performance vehicle concept being refined across many iterations. The goal is to take the project beyond renders and into the physical world through a scaled prototype, while continuing to build a company rooted in passion, engineering, and Canadian automotive ambition.
